Bronchophane Syrup is used for Breathing difficulties, Dry cough, Cough, Temporarily relief of cough caused by common cold, Flu, Or other conditions, Nausea, Vomiting and other conditions. Bronchophane Syrup may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide. Bronchophane Syrup contains Dextromethorphan, Diphenhydramine Hcl, Ephedrine Hcl and Guaiphenesin as active ingredients. Bronchophane Syrup works by decreasing activity in the part of the brain that causes coughing; suppressing the the histamine-1 receptor sites on effector cells; relaxing the air passages and constricting the blood vessels; thinning the mucus in the air passages.
